Custom Religious Icons

This work is a reproduction print of the Theotokos – Virgin mother and child, Jesus, mosaic depicted at the Hagia Sophia located in Istanbul, (see below)  Turkey.  This mosaic is located above the original altar in the construction dating back to 860 A.D.

The tile Icon offered consists of two 6 x 8″ tiles mounted to a large marble/terrazzo tiles which is approx. 9″ wide x 17.75″ tall.  This is a handmade item using permanent;y embedded nontoxic, natural ink onto ceramic tile with a glossy finish. It can be wiped easily for easy maintenance and will last a lifetime.  It is recommended that these tiles do not be placed in direct sunlight, as they have not be finished with a UV coating.
